Guatemala: Outreach in the Slums of Guatemala

After working a long day at our Haven of Hope center in Colonia de Madrid, Escuintla, Guatemala our team felt led to visit a neighboring community. This community is a very poor settlement of people who live in houses made of metal and face many daily struggles.

Our team prepared a simple meal to distribute to the community giving us an opportunity to show the love of Christ and preach the Gospel to all who would hear. This is the passion of The Hope Movement to go where no one else will go to bring hope to those crying out to God.
