Guatemala: Special Day in San Juan Sacatepequez

The Hope Movement opened an outreach center in the mountains of an indigenous community in San Juan Sacatepequez, Guatemala in 2014. This is a special place where children and families find refuge from hunger, abuse and hopelessness. Here we serve meals every week, provide counseling, home visitation and much more.

The Hope Movement team traveled 3 hours to our center to visit along with a licensed Psychologist and many donations of clothing, hygiene products and school supplies. We ministered to the adults preaching the Gospel while on the other side we taught the children, provided counseling and fun games.

It was a special day in a special place at our Haven of Hope center in San Juan Sacatepequez.
